Uber simple Rock chic/ Smokey eye

I love this look sooo much, just because its super easy to achieve and wearable for many skin types :) I haven't given any specific products throughout this tutorial because I like to think that as long as you girlies have a black shadow, grey shadow and silver/white shadow, plus mascara and eye liner then your good to go! :D If any of you lovelys do have any questions about products though, just drop me a message :)

Step 1- To begin the look make sure you girlies have done the basics, such as filled in your brow (if you like to do that) and applied a base to your eyelid as it ensures the shadow stays on your eye much longer, which is great for the all night parties you can attend with this look! ;)

Step 2- Take your black shadow and apply to the outer area of the eye, try to create a slight upturn at the edge (as shown above) to help emphasise the look, this is done by lightly shading the shadow up towards the brow bone until your happy with the results. Remember lovelys, its a lot easier to add make up that to remove it!  Also blend the black shadow along the crease of you eye to create depth and a sexualll shape :) Using the same colour line underneath the lower lash to about the halfway. None of this has to be uber neat so dont worry, after all, this is the rock chic look! :)

Step 3- Next take your grey shadow and blend into the black, both on the upper and lower eye. The key here girlies (or guys) is to blend blend blend! You don't have to be amazingly precise or neat either (which I find is the beauty of this look) if you think you look hot, then you do!

Step 4- This is the last use of shadow for this look, take the white/silver shadow and blend into the inner corner of your eye and also around the tear duct. As before do the same on both the upper and lower eye. This ensures that along with a sexy smokey look, you babes also have big, fresh looking eyes :)

Step 4- Take a black eyeliner (any that blends easily is good) and apply to your waterline and just above the upper lashes, this creates the illusion of thicker, sexier lashes. Also you can use either a highlighter or a tiny bit of the white/silver shadow to apply just below your brow, this makes the brows appear higher and therefore your eyes stand out so so much :)

Step 5- Apply your favourite mascara and your done! The beauty of this look is you lovelys can adapt it any way you want, whether you want to use more black for a darker finish to a hint of colour in the mid eye (purple would rock!) to add a glam edge. Rock this look how you like it!

I really hope you enjoyed reading this (super easy!) Rock chic/smokey eye tutorial :) Tell me what you think! Please drop me a message, follow this blog and tell your friendies :)
Much love :D

Angel Fish Sleek Fish Smoothing Serum

Seriously guys I do not know what I would do without this product! I have been using it for about two years and still love it just as much as the first time I tried it :) I tend to use it on my hair when it is damp after I get out of the bath or shower because it makes it a million times easier to brush through! It really is good, my hair tends to get really knotty because its long and quite thick but this fixes it :)
On dry hair it removes all frizz and leaves hair shiny and smooth, guys whatever you do though do not put it on the roots of your hair as this will leave it greasy looking and flat....which is never good :/ lol
The bottle costs less than £4 and will last you ages as you literally need one squirt for your whole hair, and the smell is amazing! Ive received so many complements about the smell of my hair from using this, it smells like a holiday! all coconutty and delicious :)
The serum also has UV defensive filters so it protects your hair from sun damage, it would be perfect to throw in your suitcase when you go on holiday :)
Overall I love this product and think every girl should have it, go treat yourself girlies!

Boots No.7 Blemish Concealer

This product should be used for exactly what is says....blemishes! It really is a very very thick concealer so it would be perfect for anyone with problem skin. It can be quite hard to blend because it is quite chalky but I found if I dotted it on my imperfections before applying liquid foundation then it blends a lot easier.
Whatever you do, do not apply directly under the eye! I just feel that it is way to thick and you would benefit more from using a lighter, more light diffusing concealer because this one creases almost instantly when applied to the under eye.
A good thing about this concealer is that it isn't too greasy in the slightest, therefore I would recommend it for anyone who has problem skin and is looking for a thick concealer but certainly if you have good or normal skin I would go for a much lighter product.

Bourjois 1 Second Nail Varnish

I'm just going to get straight to the point here, I was actually really disappointed by this product. The reason this is, is because I put the varnish on and yes, Its 100% true that it does go on easily quickly, and also it does dry quickly but....yes but lol I literally put my hands in warm water to do the dishes like 5 hours later (so I know it was perfectly dry) and it all fell off! I was like wtf?! haha I tried the varnish again the next week and the exact same thing happened :/
Now online most of the reviews seem to be good but this is just what I found, I wouldn't recommend it to a friend so I certainly wont recommend it to you :)

If you love Romance by Ralf Lauren you need to read this!

Ok, this perfume Romance by Ralf Lauren is simply gorgeous! Its really fresh and light, a good everyday scent, it retails at around £45 for 50ml, and lets face it, with the current financial climate, not many can afford to spend that on a perfume. But have no fear my lovelys! I have found a cheaper version that retails at.....wait for it....£12 for 100ml!! No Joke :) and seriously these two perfumes smell so similar! Its called Just Pink by Next. I switched from Romance to Just Pink and no one noticed, to be fair I hardly did and it seems to have just as much staying power.
Now, I'm not suggesting for one minute that us girlies shouldn't be able to treat ourselves but ive found that using my Just Pink everyday and saving my Romance for nights out or special occasions is the perfect balance, and great money saving technique! :)
Hope you found this usefull!

My First Review :) Soap and Glory 'The Righteous Butter'

First things first, the packaging is so cute :) as you can see! The Soap and Glory range in general has an awesome retro feel that any girl (or boy!) would be proud to whip out of their handbag. The first thing I noticed about this product was the absolutely amazing smell, seriously! Most scented moisturisers have a very over powering and almost cheap smell but this is not like that at all, its sweet but also extremely light and fresh. I put this on in the morning after my shower and when I came home from college that day I could still smell the undertones of the scent on my skin which I found amazing for a body butter.

The size I reviewed is only 50ml (as part of a Soap and Glory gift set) but I can see it lasting me a fair while as you don't need to slather it on in order to get a good result. The cream is literally like a butter, its gorgeously thick but still seems to sink in well which is good because who likes feeling all sticky after applying their moisturiser?

After applying this body butter for as little as three days I noticed areas such as my elbows and knees were so so much smoother! This is most likely due to the fact it contains 'softening shea butter and Aloe Vera' which I loved as it not only smells amazing but it is actually good for your skin :)

This product is available from most good beauty shops such as boots etc. and is priced at £9.79 for a 300ml tub which I think is great value for money as I literally think that could last longer than 6 months, also the product can be used for 24 months after its been opened :)

I love this product and I hope you do too!
